United States only. These are US federal program under SOP 50 10 8, priced off two different US benchmarks: SBA 7(a) and Express track the WSJ Prime Rate plus a spread, while the 504 debenture prices off US Treasury yields when it sells, not when you sign.

Tax, Caps, fees, eligibility and the Section 179 limits all come from US statute and change with it. Outside the US the arithmetic still holds; the program, benchmarks and limits do not.

Current as of August 2026. Check the SOP before relying on a figure.

— SBA CAPLines

The line you asked for, and the line your assets support

CAPLines are the revolving side of the 7(a) program, capped at five million dollars. A Working Capital CAPLine is asset-based, so the number that matters is not what you request but what your eligible receivables and inventory will carry. This works out both and shows you the smaller one, then what it costs to hold.

✓
Eligible is the word doing the work — Invoices past ninety days, related-party balances and concentration above the lender's limit come out of the base before any advance rate is applied.
✓
The rate ceiling is tiered by size, not by term — Base plus 6.50 at fifty thousand and under, plus 6.00 to two hundred and fifty, plus 4.50 to three hundred and fifty, plus 3.00 above that. Maturity stopped affecting the ceiling in 2022.
✓
Advance rates are the lender's, not the SBA's — Eighty percent on receivables and fifty on inventory is ordinary practice rather than a rule, which is why both are inputs here.
✓
A seasonal line has to reach zero — The balance must sit at zero for at least thirty consecutive days each year, which is how the SBA tests that the business is not living on the line.
Informational only — not financial, tax, legal or lending advice, and not a commitment to lend. Program figures are current as of August 2026: maximum $5,000,000, WSJ Prime 6.75% as of August 2026, spread ceilings of 6.50, 6.00, 4.50 and 3.00 points over base by loan size, guaranty of 85 percent at $150,000 and under and 75 percent above. SBA terms change with each SOP revision and the prime rate moves, so confirm both with your lender before relying on any figure here. · exitadviser.com/terms
