Entity Sale Closing Checklist

Maria S Georges
by Maria S Georges, LLM

If you’re selling your Limited Company (LLC) or corporation as a business entity, you’ll need to transfer the entity to the buyer at closing.

The items on an entity sale checklist will vary case by case. And, presumably many of its items are already addressed in the Business Sale Agreement.

You'll find a sample "master checklist" below, to give you a foundation to compile your own unique list for closing.
