Medical Supplies Business for Sale in Buffalo

Sole proprietor providing medical equipment to nursing facilities, hospices, and private individuals. Primary focus is wound healing and prevention through the utilization of therapeutic support surfaces.

I have been selling and/or renting wound care products, primarily therapeutic support surfaces, to Skilled Nursing Facilities and Hospices for over 20 years. What has anchored my success is the personal service I provide to my clients. I have been told many times that my wound care knowledge, superior products, and especially my same day service, is what separates me from my large corporate competitors. I have consistently had 80% to 100% of my inventory placed and generating income, while utilizing less than 10% of the potential client market in Western New York alone. Growth potential in this field is enormous.

Reason for selling

After 20 years of owning my business and 35 years in nursing I have decided to retire and enjoy the fruits of my labor. I am very proud and gratified that I have played a part in healing wounds for thousands of patients and residents.

Required buyer qualifications

Helpful qualifications for this business would include, but not require, some aspect of knowledge in the health care field. Ideally the new owner would be an individual that has experience with wound care. Nurses, PT's, OT's etc.. I would be willing to remain as the new owner's representative for current and prospective clients until such time that they feel comfortable with the products and services. I am certain that a new owner can have zero experience in health care and still be successful in this business.
